Harambe Futbol Club names Vahid Assadpour as new Director of Coaching
Many of you know Vahid, who is currently the captain of the Missouri Comets professional soccer team. Vahid just finished his third season with the Comets, leading them to the MLS Championship game. Prior to playing with the Comets Vahid played professionally for 4 seasons in Detriot after graduating college with a criminal justice degree while playing soccer on scholarship. Vahid was born in Iran and moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 2 and has been playing soccer since he was 5 years old. Vahid's father played professional soccer and served as his inspiration. Vahid has coached for 8 years and also owns a soccer school with fellow Comets player Leo Gibson.
